Gasthaus Sorgenfrei with its Café-Bar Auditorium and beer garden is located in the Upper Palatinate village of Altendorf near Nabburg in the idyllic Schwarzach valley. The culinary tradition dates back to around 1630, and the business has been run by the Sorgenfrei family since 1891. In the traditional dining room with around 50 seats and the Café-Bar Auditorium with around 35 seats, fresh dishes from their own herb and vegetable garden and from local butchers are served. During the week there are light snacks; on Sundays and public holidays a lunch table with roasts and home-baked cakes. Vegetarians will find suitable dishes; the beers come from Kummert brewery, along with whisky and cocktails.
