Description
Café Herzhäuschen is the faithful reconstruction of an old 19th-century farmworker's house in Cologne's Bickendorf district, named after the Jewish Herz family. Today it is a collectively run café with a changing cultural programme, where guests enjoy coffee, cake, breakfast and savoury dishes such as quiche and flatbread. The furnishings follow an upcycling concept; the place combines remembrance of the Herz family with a lively meeting place for the neighbourhood.
