Aachener Brauhaus is Aachen's large, rustic traditional tavern with 200 seats. Hot food is served continuously from 12:00 noon, featuring Aachen specialities such as Sauerbraten and Puttes as well as hearty German home-style cooking – pork knuckles, butcher’s platters, schnitzels and salad dishes. Located on Kapuzinergraben, the restaurant has been owned by Böse GmbH since 2008 and continues the tradition of the former Degraa Brauhaus by the theatre.

The canteen at Theaterplatz in Aachen offers hearty home-style cooking at fair prices. It is publicly accessible and open to everyone - city employees, craftsmen, students or bank staff. There are vegetarian dishes daily; the offer ranges from breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. All dishes can also be ordered to take away.
