The Burghotel Volmarstein is situated on the Schlossberg high above the Ruhr Valley and has been run by the Vorberg family for over 350 years. The à la carte restaurant serves regional Westphalian specialities, and the terraces offer panoramic views of the Ruhr Valley. The cosy castle tavern serves freshly tapped beer and hearty home-style cooking; at coffee time, homemade cakes and coffee specialities are on offer on the terraces or in the small restaurant.
