Haus Schnackertz was built in 1912 in the heart of Nippes and has housed a restaurant since the very beginning. Since 2007, the establishment has been operated, combining good old traditions with new approaches. The kitchen works with fresh, regional, and seasonal ingredients; meat comes from nearby suppliers, fish exclusively from sustainable catches from Iceland. Vegetables, fruits, and salads from local farmers and weekly markets. All dishes are prepared fresh, without additives and flavor enhancers. Vegetarians, vegans, and guests with food intolerances are well catered for.
